Of necessity, major publishers screen what they choose to print to remain profitable. Printing books by known authors that reflect conventional wisdom has a much higher probability to produce a profit. Unknown authors and topics that “rock the boat” are a bet on a long-shot.

Rather than spend years pursuing publication through a known publisher, we believed the time and money was better spent founding our own company. In so doing we could more efficiently share our discoveries about the birth of Christ and their implications for those who love Him or long to understand His message. At the same time, we believed forming our own company would put us in a position to help other authors and artists overcome the hurdles of getting their works into the hands of the general public. Therefore, Gethsemane Books was formed as an LLC in 2019.

It is our call and vision to get life-changing material into the hands and hearts of those seeking an intimate relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. We recognize that God uses various tools to draw us to Himself. One of those is the study of His Word. Therefore, this site provides access to materials that will help seekers and disciples of Christ to learn about the Lord and HIs teachings.

We further recognize that God draws us to Himself through the arts. Thus we have welcomed brothers and sisters who love the Lord and are anointed by Him to promote their works on this site. Their work has been a blessing to others, we trust it will bless you as well.

GethsemaneBooks.store is just getting started. There are no doubt hundreds of little-known servants of God who would like an avenue to share with others the gifts God has entrusted into their lives. It would be our privilege to see their work and, should it be a fit within the scope of our vision and call, we would be happy to consider adding their works to this site.
